Hi all!

  We thank you so much for your patience and understanding since our last update nearly a year ago:

  In addition to the expected setbacks in trying to secure funds for an indie title with no prior gaming credits, and global events throwing further setbacks our way regularly since Fall 2024, a few personal matters also popped up in that time which further delayed progress. This resulted in funds which were being considered (and very slowly set aside) for production to resume needing to be redirected towards all that without heistation.

  More positively, for those who follow us at Digital Era Entertainment via our Socials or Discord, you'll know that we've been continuing to focus on our regular video/streaming output while quietly trying to figure out this whole budgeting situation behind the scenes. 

  The "crown jewel" from this period, which unexpectedly resulted from the holding pattern, was our well-received "Red vs Blue"-style machinima "Malevelon Creek: A Very Democratic Miniseries." (A project crafted with "Helldivers 2" which we strongly recommend you check out and share around as it would roundaboutly help our funding efforts for "KnP" immensely!)

  With that all being said, we're pleased to report that while production is still not officially back on, we've FINALLY resumed work on important scriptwriting to round out Cour 1's "post-demo" story that was supposed to occur after the original Kickstarter campaign's conclusion; in addition, we've also started to put some small funds from our last two batches of Twitch Affiliate earnings towards producing essential character art to complement those segments!

  While we won't be able to reveal one of them publicly due to their impact on that remaining story section, we'll try to share at least one or two of the others as it wouldn't be terribly "spoilery" to do so! We hope that by knocking out this work now, we'll be able to expedite the final phase of Cour 1's production process once funds to do so can be secured.

  In the meantime, please continue to enjoy our demo and share the project around in the hopes that the right eyeballs will land on it so we can get closer to securing the resources we need to finish the full project sooner rather than later!
